Extend a User’s Location

← Back

The Extended Access Locations list is used to extend a user’s normal access to multiple locations. The user’s location and access level are used to determine which profiles the individual can access.

For example, a district level user in New Hampshire has access to all users with access level lower than district and in the New Hampshire district. If the extended location district Northern Maine is added, the user will have access to all users with access level lower than district in both the New Hampshire and Northern Maine locations.

  1. Log in to UMCARES
  2. Open the individuals profile.
  3. Select the Location Information section. Their Extended Access Locations will be listed and Extend Location option is on the header menu, for users who have the correct access and permissions.
  4. Click on the Extend Location header menu option and select the extended location and add.
